A hard working bunch of criminals tunnelled there way in search of Sony and Microsoft treasure.

With a PlayStation 3 fetching upwards of $5000 on eBay at the moment, it is no wonder that enterprising and unlawful types see the new generation of gaming consoles as a way to make a quick buck.

Jacksonville Florida on Sunday was the seen of the burrowing burglars who made off with 13 Xbox 360 consoles.  Cutting power and removing security tapes from the local GameStop Video Game store.

GameStop manager did his own forensic work, and based on the scattered boxes ; "They really wanted to get a PlayStation 3," he said. "But when they saw the empty PS3 boxes, they were mad and just wanted to get something."

So if you have already got your hands on a PS3, keep it safe.  Here is an idea, disguise it as a Betamax VCR.
