So back into the fray goes Crypto with rescue, revenge and rampage on his mind.
Armed to his Alien gums with an array of off world technology, a still functioning scout saucer with extended capabilities as well as mind blowing psychic skills, this Australian production (Pandemic studios) does not stray far from the Original games much loved features.
Still available is the Zap-o-matic, Disintegrator Ray and Anal Probe (in much more useable form). - That is a sentence I never thought I would write.
Also toss in abilities such as Psychokinesis, Cortex Scan and the necessary ability to inhabit a human mind to wander the streets with relative impunity. This gives Crypto a bit of 'down time' from the constant alarm levels that attract the 'heat' when in his normal Alien form.
The main achievement in "Destroy All Humans 2!" is the genuinely laugh out loud story line. Without which, this game could easily have disappeared into the pile of undistinguishable third person action games with confusing control systems, that clog the Console format.
Still the writers where given a gift by setting the game in the era of Free love, Flower power, and Communes. You may feel a little guilty, laughing so hard whilst extracting brains from hippie chicks. But it is all part of the need to Destroy all humans.!
Think again. Most businesses only have PART of a DR plan - and this spells business disaster in the event of an IT disaster.
