In the lead up to the release of its new game Need For Speed: Most Wanted, Electronic Arts is tricking up a Lamborghini Gallardo for some lucky punters to use as a private taxi around Sydney.

Priced at over $400,000, this bright orange, mid-engined Lamborghini Gallardo taxi won't be plodding through traffic, but hacking around town in order to get passengers to their destination with extreme rapidity.

Decked out in taxi livery, the hardcore cab is powered by a rip-snorting 5.2-litre V10 outputting 405kW at 8500rpm and 540Nm at 6500rpm – enough mumbo to accelerate the car from 0-100km/h in 3.9 seconds.

The Lambo-cab will be on the Sydney streets until November 3rd if you hurry and enter the facebook competition, you and your date could go out on the town in style
