Valve’s much-lauded Steam service is aiming to scare off its competitors with a new bumper Halloween sale.

Steam's Halloween sale is on between now and October 31 and features 60 titles at the time of writing.

Like Steam’s other themed sales, all the games here are of a particular bent, and seem to feature either zombies, ghosts, death, or pumpkins.

Gamers have an embarrassment of riches to choose from.

Plants vs Zombies is 75% off at $2.49, the spooktacular Amnesia: The Dark Descent is $4.99. Alan Wake is only $14.99, while gamers can pick up Limbo for $2.49.

Check out the full sale here before your head falls off with excitement.
