Apple has announced a new iPod touch and a “reinvented” iPod nano. The new iPod touch has a 4-inch Retina™ display; a 5 megapixel camera with 1080p video recording; and runs the same iOS 6 operating system as the iPhone 5.
The new iPod nano is thinner than before and has a 2.5-inch display. Both devices come with the new Lightning 8-pin connector that replaces the old Apple 30 pin connector.
Apple also announced a new version of iTunes for Mac and PC, featuring a redesigned player, “seamless integration with iCloud”.
The new iTunes will be available in October and will feature “a dramatically simpler and cleaner interface that keeps your favourite iTunes content at the forefront. With iCloud integration, your music, movie and TV purchases made on any of your iOS devices or computers is conveniently displayed in your iTunes library on your Mac or PC, available anytime you want them." Apple has also redesigned iTunes Store, App Store and iBookstore.
