iTWire ushers in 2012 with new look site

Your IT - Entertainment

After seven excellent years of keeping our audience of ICT industry stakeholders and users informed about the latest news and developments in the technology markets that affect their professional and personal lives, iTWire is pleased to announce the launch of its brand new look site.

As would be expected after seven years, iTWire has matured considerably and our new site exemplifies this with a professional design crafted by a user interface specialist rather than an IT guy!

First and foremost, the new iTWire site is designed to make navigation to our readers' areas of interest and the most important current news easy and seamless.

With this in mind, the iTWire home page now features front and centre both the latest stories produced by our journalists auto generated by the system as they are filed, as well as a selection of stories deemed to be the most important news of the day by our editors.

The home page also highlights the current key areas of interest to our audience, such as NBN and Cloud Computing.

In addition, the new iTWire two-tier menu bar enables easy navigation to the key areas of IT industry segments from any page on the site, including story pages.

On story pages, as well as the home page, iTWire displays a list of the most popular stories determined by both the number of views and comments from readers.

Reviews of the latest products and services in both the business and consumer spaces will also be a key feature going forward at iTWire and this is reflected on the home page of the new look site.

People in the ICT industry have always been a key focus of iTWire and the new site reflects this with a new section called Profiler which features in depth interviews with key industry personalities.

iTWire considers the views of our audience a vital part of our content mix and therefore the views of readers are prominently displayed on most pages including the home and story pages. Coming soon will be a brand new comments system that will make it even easier for our readers to present their views about stories and engage each other in lively discussion.

At iTWire, we wish to thank our loyal readers and look forward to continuing to keep you informed in 2012 and beyond with our new site and new products and services soon to be announced.
