The company - which last year went from strength to strength and is rapidly rolling out its new digital streaming platform to compete against the likes of Apple's iTunes store and other movie streaming services - says subscribers have continued to be added at a rapid pace.
Calling the jump evidence of ' strong growth', it said the jump of 21,303 subscribers (including those who signed up for a trial of the service) takes the total customer base to 110,697 - 94,097 of which are paying members, up 17% for the quarter, and 81% over the year.
'Initial take up of Quickflix's new movie streaming service which launched in November 2011 has resulted in over 10 per cent of subscribers already choosing streaming as part of their package,' Quickflix said in the statement, posted to the ASX.
The company debuted its long-awaited movie streaming platform in November last year, with iTech Report's own Darryl Adams reviewing the service at the end of last month.
