Assassin's Creed Rearmed a million times

Your IT - Entertainment

Ubisoft claims one million downloads of its Assassin's Creed Rearmed game for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch.

Assassin's Creed Rearmed is a multiplayer game in the Assassin's Creed universe that runs on iOS devices. Up to four people can play together using Wi-Fi or 3G, and offline mode allows practice or two-player games via Bluetooth.

The objective is to sneak up on other players and kill them.

According to a Ubisoft spokesperson, the game has been downloaded from the App Store more than one million times in four weeks.

While the game is free, Diamonds and Florins may be purchased in-app and used to unlock abilities and personas (and presumably other game elements). According to one review posted at the App Store, it is only possible to acquire Diamonds in exchange for real-world money.

Version 1.0.2 was released today to deliver various improvements including not kicking a player out of a game when a phone notification or interrupt occurs, better stability, and easier killing controls.
