Sony has sent through local details including pricing and launch dates for the upcoming PlayStation Vita hand-held gaming device.

 

Below is the local Australian and New Zealand info for those folk interested in picking up a new PS Vita hand-held gaming device in 2012.
 
 Sony Computer Entertainment Australia and New Zealand confirmed today that PlayStation®Vita (PS Vita) will launch on 23rd February, 2012. This follows an announcement made by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) today confirming that PlayStation®Vita (PS Vita) will launch throughout Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Australasia from 22nd February, 2012. Available in Europe from €249.99 (RRP), Australia from AUD $349.95 (RRP) and New Zealand from NZD $449.95 (RRP)for the Wi-Fi model, the 3G/Wi-Fi model will retail for €299.99 (RRP), AUD $449.95 (RRP) and NZD $549.95, respectively. PS Vita will offer uncompromised portable gaming experiences, anytime, and anywhere.
