Gatling Gears gears up for PC

Your IT - Entertainment

EA announced today that its hit steampunk console downloadable game is now available for PC gamers.

In Gatling Gears, players control steampunk mechs from an isometric perspective to destroy waves of enemies, featuring over 30 levels of play.

The game's available for $10 on Steam and other online retailers, a comparable place to the Xbox 360 and PS3 equivalents.

Its console iterations earned a 76 on Metacritic, being described by Playstation Magazine UK as "both beautiful and chaotic - a bit like Cheryl Cole's bed hair."

Gamers can play co-op or against their friends in a full online or offline co-op modes. You can collect gears that enemies leave behind to beat enemies and earn point multipliers and also upgrades.

The game was developed by Vanguard Games, known for their similar title Greed Corp, in partnership with EA Partners.

It's available right now... so go get 'em.
