Construction needs cloud flexibility

Australia’s embattled construction sector could benefit from cloud based information systems that can be switched on and off in lockstep with individual projects – with the exception of those organisations based in remote areas like the Kimberleys.

Vodafail clip music spoof is a funny Vodapwn

Your IT - Entertainment

If there's a list of 'best telco rants', the Vodafail musical tribute that features Lady Gaga's 'Telephone' track has got to be a contender for one of the best!

An Australian group called 'TV Live on Stage' has produced a very funny YouTube clip parodying the troubles that have led Vodafone to be colloquially known, at least by some, as Vodafail.

With both Vodafone and 3 Mobile users still complaining of reception issues following Vodafone's public apology and ongoing network upgrade that sadly, for affected customers, take time to upgrade.

The group previously made a parody of Ke$ha's major hit, 'Tik Tok', and while that clip looks like it should be one of those gazillion superstar YouTube hits, it seems to have missed out on the kind of attention that Rebecca Black's 'Friday' clip has garnered in record time.

However, now that 'TV Live on Stage' has come out with its Vodafail clip, which is resulting in publicity for both clips, who knows where the comically musical talents will take the almost Chaser-esque talents next?

Just as the Schmoyoho have achieved success in the US with their 'autotune the news' series, including the Charlie Sheen #winning song, Bed Intruder, Double Rainbow, Obama's Kick Some Butt song and others, so too do 'TV Live on Stage' look able to produce some fun and watchable clips that could well become mega viral hits.

Thus far, YouTube lists only 2648 hits for the Vodafail clip, although given the publicity there will presumably be far many more once YouTube shows the true hit levels.

YouTube doesn't actually show you video views in real time, which helps stop video view click fraud.

So'¦ whether you're a Vodafone customer or not'¦ a home-grown viral video spoof clip using Lady Gaga's Telephone clip is ready and waiting for you to view and let all your friends know about.

It's not just Rebecca Black that can go mega-viral, surely.

I wonder what we'll see 'TV Live on Stage' take on next?
