The company behind the Runes of Magic online game will donate 50% of the revenue from certain in-game purchases to Queensland flood relief.

Runes of Magic is a MMORPG developed and published by Queensland-based N3V Games. The company is running a special event to help raise funds for the Queensland Premier's Flood Relief Appeal.

From 12am on Saturday January 15 to midnight on Sunday January 23, the company will donate 50% of the revenue from in-game purchases of the Star Mount or Flame Mount. The mounts cost 225 diamonds (approximately $A12) each.

"As a Queensland company we have many guys living in Brisbane who have been affected by the floods," said CEO Graham Edelsten.

"This charity event is our way of showing our support for all of those affected by these unfortunate events," he added.
