U-Sing Girls Night, karaoke for the Wii

Your IT - Entertainment

U-Sing U've Got Talent brought the Karaoke club to Wii owners, now Mindscape are targeting the female audience with U-Sing Girls Night, featuring DLC for the first time.

On the PlayStation it is SingStar, on the Xbox 360 it's Lips, but Wii owners have a number of Karaoke options which suit the party orientation of Nintendo's home console.

Publisher and distributer Mindscape has dropped iTWire some information about the forthcoming sequel to U-Sing U've Got Talent.  This time it will be the girls hogging the microphone in U-Sing Girls Night.

U-Sing Girls Night, is the sequel to U-Sing U've Got Talent, which was the best selling karaoke game on Wii for Christmas 2009. Mindscape has built upon this success by adding new features and improvements to U-Sing Girls Night, some of which are a first for console karaoke games!

New, exclusive features include:

*    DLC: U-Sing Girls Night will be the first karaoke game on Wii with Down-Loadable Content. Players with an Internet connected Wii will be able to access the U-Sing online store via the game. Songs can be purchased using Nintendo points.

*    Juke Box Mode: Owners of the original U-Sing loved the Jukebox Mode which transforms the Wii console into a jukebox.  U-Sing Girls Night adds an additional feature to the Jukebox Mode by giving players the choice to display lyrics or not, without being scored, giving the game a real karaoke feel.

*    Golden Notes: During a song, golden notes regularly appear on the music score. Filling a golden note triggers a sequence that adds bonus points to the player's score. A counter on the right of the screen keeps the player's score.
