Samsung is using the soccer World Cup as an excuse to announce some value-add bundles across its new 3D TV range. New purchasers can score bundled movies, Blu-ray players and home theatre systems.
On the eve of the Soccer World Cup kicking off in South Africa, and - coincidentally - the
competition hitting the market place with their own 3D TV line up, Samsung Electronics Australia has given out details of its new 3D TV Bundle promotion.
Samsung Electronics Australia is kicking off World Cup fever by launching two nationwide promotions, offering customers the chance to score big when they purchase one of Samsung's participating TVs. These promotions come hot on the heels of the recently launched, and surprisingly affordable, Samsung 3D TVs; the first to arrive in Australia.
From 1st May through 30th June, customers who purchase a selected Samsung 3D TV from retailers nationwide will be eligible to redeem a Bonus 3D bundle, containing a Samsung 3D Blu-ray player and two sets of rechargeable 3D glasses, valued at RRP $849. In addition to this Bonus 3D bundle, customers are also eligible to receive a Bonus 3D TV starter kit, containing a 3D Blu-ray Disc of DreamWorks Animation SKG's hit movie, Monsters vs. Aliens, and another two sets of battery powered 3D glasses.
So for just AU$2,899 RRP, a family can enjoy a 40" Samsung LED 3D Series 7 TV, a 3D Blu-ray player, a 3D Blu-ray movie and four sets of 3D glasses.Samsung is also offering purchases of their larger - more expensive - 3D TV's a bonus Blu-ray Home Theatre System, valued at RRP AU$799.
"The countdown is underway to the World Cup and we anticipate many fans will be eager to upgrade their televisions to experience all the matches in the best way possible," said Tony Brown, Marketing Manager, Samsung Electronics. "Those in the market for a new TV will score big with Samsung's new promotions."
"Samsung's new range of 3D TVs are not only affordable, but they also let you convert any 2D content to 3D. So, Aussie fans will be able to experience all of the action from South Africa as if they were pitch-side. Your only problem will be getting your friends and neighbours to leave your house!" he said.
