Guitar Hero Van Halen hits store shelves, but it is a title that marks the beginning of a tightening of the Guitar Hero reigns by publisher Activision.  Here is the info including full song list.

Just last week Activision announced the closure of the original Guitar Hero development studio Red Octane, with about 30-40 people now out of work.  This includes Activision Guitar Hero group boss Dan Rosenweig.

In the meantime however, Guitar Hero fans have the latest release of the games themed expansions to get their fingers used to.  This time developed by Underground Development, a studio also affected by the tightening of belts at Activision.
