Weak iPod/iPhone sound bugging you? Try the ladybug II or firefly speaker docks

Your IT - Entertainment

Providing you don't suffer from entomophobia, the ladybug II and firefly speakers from Vestalife may be the answer to getting more sound out of your iPhone or iPod.

The ladybug II and firefly are both speaker docks for the iPod or iPhone. As the names suggest, the industrial designs are reminiscent of insects, with fold-down speakers that resemble wing cases.

The ladybug II comes in metallic red or metallic black, and costs $A159.95. It runs from the mains or four AA batteries, and will charge an iPod when connected to an AC supply.

A remote control and carry bag are included.

The firefly has slightly different styling, a rechargeable Li-ion battery, AC power supply, and a built-in subwoofer. It costs $A199.95.

Vestalife products are distributed in Australia by Try & Byte and stocked at the Apple Stores.
