Live American sport streaming to the PC, Australian home cable tv company FOXTEL has teamed up with ESPN to bring sports fans ESPN360

For Australian fans of American sports, it can be frustrating getting coverage.  Stepping up to the plate is Australian cable network provider Foxtel, in conjunction with U.S. sport giant ESPN with the following plan.

FOXTEL Next Generation gives viewers what they want when they want it with the addition of 30 channels - 12 of which are brand new, FOXTEL Download - a state-of-the-art free online television service, significant technological upgrades to FOXTEL's television iQ Guide, and new channel packages, designed to provide more flexibility and better value to FOXTEL customers.

The first LIVE multi-sport broadband network in Australia, ESPN360, is ESPN's signature 24/7 broadband sports network and the new online home for the best LIVE International sport.

ESPN Vice President and General Manager Asia Pacific, Michael Morrison, said " This is a very exciting time for ESPN in Australia and we are proud to launch Australia's first LIVE multi sport broadband network, ESPN 360, with our affiliate partner FOXTEL. We believe this service will enhance ESPN's continued efforts to serve the Australian sports fan with the best that international sport has to offer."

FOXTEL Executive Director of Product and Sales, Patrick Delany said, "ESPN 360 is part of the FOXTEL Next Generation offering and adds weight to our mantra of 'watch what you want, when you want'. It is available to FOXTEL sports subscribers at no extra charge and they will now be able to access additional games and matches that ESPN has previously been unable to broadcast to Australian audiences on the ESPN channel due to space and time restrictions. ESPN 360 will also carry many of the sports shown on air too - so subscribers can use the PC as an extra viewing outlet at home or on the move. ESPN 360 will be home to a range of popular international sports available to watch instantly online, at any time, from anywhere."

As a round-the-clock, LIVE, multi-sport broadband network, ESPN360 will deliver more than 2000 LIVE sports events annually and will be available to all FOXTEL sports tier subscribers. Each FOXTEL Sports Tier subscriber household will have two access passes to ESPN360 at no extra charge.

ESPN360 will deliver matches LIVE as they happen around the globe, full length REPLAY so sports fans can catch up play-by-play at a time that suits them, and an extensive range of short videos available on demand across a wide range of sports updated daily.

ESPN360 LIVE games will include EXCLUSIVE access to LIVE on-line to games that are not broadcast anywhere in Australia, as well as simulcast of televised games to make sure sports fans never have to miss a match.

To access ESPN360, subscribers use the same registration and password for My FOXTEL and FOXTEL Download available at
