PS3 shot at Bravia TV to kick start give-away

Sony is ready to relaunch the free PS3 with a BRAVIA LCD TV promotion again.  Giving away 25,000 PlayStation 3’s with select BRAVIA’s.  When Sony says it is doing a relaunch, it means a relaunch with video footage of a PS3 being hurled into an innocent LCD TV at 22 metres per second.

It was pretty much successful last year, and with the new impetus of the new PS3 Slim Sony is ready to make new TV purchasers happy by adding a 120GB PlayStation 3 to their Christmas stocking.

Beginning at 12:01 am on Thursday 22nd October the 25,000 PS3 Slim countdown begins.

To kick off the promotion, Sony has had some fun with a spare TV and PS3 that was obviously lying around the office.  In an attempt to illustrate the dramatic fusion of game console with LCD TV, the hapless PS3 was fired at an unfortunate Bravia LCD.
