Beaterator gets peer review at Video Music Awards

Rockstar Games has the upcoming Beaterator for PSP to spruik.  Now the debate begins on whether this application is a game or a tool for hand-held music creation.  At the recent MTV Video Music Awards Rockstar handed Beaterator around the audience for some reactions:  footage after the click.

Rockstar Games was recently at the MTV Video Music Awards passing Beaterator around and showing off what it can do. Check the brand new trailer to get the opinions of (amongst others):

West Coast rapper Ice-T is known for his rawness both as a Grammy
Award-winning Hip Hop pioneer as well as an actor on the police drama
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. He's married to swimsuit model Coco.
 
Chris Robinson
Producer/Director Chris Robinson has produced and directed videos for artists that include Alicia Keys, Ciara, Keri Hilson, Jordin Sparks, Nas, P. Diddy, T.I. and more.
 
Henry Santos and Max Santos
Members of the Bronx-based band Aventura, they infuse hip-hop, R&B, and reggaeton to create their own unique form of Bachata music, a style which originated in the Dominican Republic.
 
Kevin Rudolf
The singer-songwriter started his career working with Timbaland on tracks for acts like Nelly Furtado and the Black Eyed Peas, and recently released his own album, "In the City" which included the US Triple Platinum single "Let It Rock" featuring Lil' Wayne.
 
Kate Voegele
Singer-songwriter and actress, Kate is currently signed to Interscope Records. She's also acted on the hit show One Tree Hill.
 
Jay Sean
British Pop-R&B singer-songwriter who created an international hit with the song "Down" featuring label mate Lil' Wayne.
 
Serani
Reggae singer and producer, Serani co-produced the Sean Paul single "We Be Burnin'" He also produced the 'Smash" riddim which hosts the track 'Dutty Wine' by Tony Matterhorn, and recorded his own hit single "No Games".
 
Clinton Sparks
DJ and producer, Clinton Sparks has his own radio show on Sirius Satellite Radio called SmashTime Radio and has produced tracks for Ludacris, Akon, Bun B, and more.

Producer of the hip-hop duo Kidz in the Hall, who’s hit single "Drivin' Down the Block" can be found on the soundtrack to Midnight Club Los Angeles.
