Just about every big game release these days has a Limited Collector's Edition, but Forza 3 offers fans willing to shell out the bucks, extra cars and VIP status.
Coming exclusively to Xbox 360 on October 23rd, the Forza franchise already has a strong following that the 3rd iteration will look to bolster.
One way Microsoft and developer Turn 10 will be looking to do this is with the release of the Forza Motorsport 3 Limited Collector’s Edition.
The base game itself will already feature over 400 cars and 100 plus track s to race upon, but the LCE will also include exclusive access to the following vehicles:
2009 Aston Martin DBS
2009 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1
2007 Ferrari 430 Scuderia
2007 Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera
2007 Porsche 911 GT3 RS (997)
On top of this, Turn 10 have created an exclusive Collector’s Car Pack for LCE owners, according to the developer, “featuring personally hand-picked, tuned and painted” versions of the following vehicles:
Audi R8 5.2 FSI Quattro (Forza Motorsport 3 Cover Car)
Acura NSX (Forza Motorsport Cover Car)
Nissan Fairlady (Forza Motorsport 2 Cover Car)
Aston Martin DB9 (Forza Motorsport 2 European Cover Car)
2008 Dodge Charger Stock Car (with Xbox 360 livery)
To further encourage LCE purchases, Microsoft says: “In addition to the exclusive cars, Turn 10 also plans to create a series of new and exclusive designs and tuning kits exclusively for VIPs. To show off your true “Forza Motorsport” pride and prowess, consumers also receive a “Forza Motorsport 3” collector’s keychain and a 2GB USB thumbdrive in which you can store your favourite “Forza” videos, photos and designs to easily share them with friends.”
The only thing not forthcoming from the Forza 3 Motorsport team is the recommended retail price for the LCE.
