Microsoft paid the big bucks so that Xbox 360 owners could enjoy the extra GTA IV content.  Rockstar Games today confirmed a price and release date for Grand Theft Auto: Episodes From Liberty City a stand-alone game with two GTA IV episodes.

Containing the Ballad of Gay Tony as well as The Lost and Damned, Grand Theft Auto: Episodes From Liberty City packs both DLC episodic content onto one stand-alone disc.

Stand-alone meaning you don’t need a copy of the original GTA IV to play through these new story lines.  You will however need an Xbox 360 as these episodes are part of the Rockstar Games and Microsoft exclusivity deal.

In Australian and New Zealand, the following details apply for Grand Theft Auto: Episodes From Liberty City

Release date:  October 29th

Price: AU$69.95
