Last FIFA game for PS2 gets release date

Fans of virtual soccer have a date to put in their calendar as Electronic arts confirm the release date for FIFA 10.

EA have said this is the last iteration of FIFA for the venerable PlayStation 2.

But there are plenty of other platforms to whip your little soccer dudes around on.

Globally, the FIFA franchise is EA SPORTS most popular title.  Electronic Arts has told us that, from October 1st FIFA 10 will be available in Australian stores.

The game will be playable on the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, PC, Xbox 360, Wii and DS systems

The game has been developed in Burnaby, British Columbia under the guidance of EA Canada.
