Mechwarrior 2 was great, Mechwarrior 3 was fantastic and the series only lost a little steam with the final simulation based Mechwarrior 4.
But nothing stokes the boilers better than a free release of software, so all power to the folks over at Mek Tek Studios who are poised to release Mechwarrior 4 plus all its expansions to commemorate the BattleTech Universe 25th anniversary.
Over at Mek Tek Studios , they are excited This free release of MechWarrior 4 commemorates BattleTech’s 25th anniversary as well as MekTek’s 10th anniversary, and will allow BattleTech fans a chance to re-discover MechWarrior, as well as help us bring in a new army of players who are discovering MechWarrior and the BattleTech universe for the first time, completely for free.
