This is not a Prologue, this is the real deal.  Developer Polyphony Digital’s fifth iteration of the definitive PlayStation exclusive driving simulator is not far away.  Click on through for the official E3 Gran Turismo 5 trailer.

Ok so it shows lots of expensive cars driving around expensive looking race tracks, but that pretty much encapsulates Gran Turismo racing.

This trailer also shows some of the different racing modes that will be on offer when the PS3 exclusive releases.  They include track, NASCAR and WRC racing amongst others, but what is specifically not shown (but has been promised) is a damage model.
