Times are tough; many an enterprise is finding it hard to stay afloat.  With mass unemployment comes increased competition for available jobs.  SOC Exchange Careers hopes to offer some an advantage in job hunting.

The SOC Exchange made their name with new slant on the online auction process.  Now the company ventures into the wonderful world of unemployment.

Job seekers who post a resume, or create a resume website in The SOC Exchange Careers section, can be seen and contacted by all prospective employers and recruiters in the market – not just those select employers who pay an exclusive, premium fee to search resumes on other sites.

“It’s such an incredibly competitive job market today that any extra tool that people can use to get noticed has to be a positive and one which could take them one step closer to securing a job. What we are offering, at a ridiculously low cost, is the opportunity for job seekers to boost their profile and take a more creative approach to their job hunting strategy.”

“At The SOC Exchange, job seekers can rest assured that their resumes or personal resume websites are there for all employers and recruiters to view,” he emphasised.

For AU$10 per year job hunters can set up their own unique ‘me’ page on the SOCExchange.com’s careers section.  This gives them an exclusive URL, on which they can add their photo, post their own ‘job blog’, operate RSS feeds and have email address contact.

The idea behind the scheme is two ways, with employers and recruiters also being targeted.
