Final Fantasy XIII trailer

Your IT - Entertainment

The latest in the increasingly inaccurately titled Final Fantasy series of RPG games is due out this year.  Click on in for the just released impressive trailer for Final Fantasy XIII

Ah, Final Fantasy.  It was going to be Square-Enix’s last hurrah many moons ago (hence the title), but instead the series catapulted the company to be one of the more recognised game software companies doing the rounds.

Microsoft has ensnared the rights for the latest Final Fantasy iteration to grace the Xbox 360.

But it will Japanese PlayStation 3 owners that will first see the game, with Xbox 360 and other PS3 folk having to wait until Q2 next year.

In the meantime, enjoy the trailer.  Lots of CGI to be had in this one, but there is also a smattering of game-play showing a revamped combat system.

For those of you not blessed with Japanese language skills, try this link to the Square-Enix European site and try your luck at viewing a subtitled version.
