On the Software front, U.S. consumers spent an extra 15 percent on electronic fun this December, sales hitting US$2.75 billion (a yearly increase of a whopping 26 percent bringing the total to US$10.96 billion)

Much of this again was spent on software to shove into Nintendo devices.
