New Dawn of War II video lands in a drop pod

Relic and THQ have given us a further glimpse into the game-play of the upcoming Dawn of War II Real  Time Strategy game.  Click on in to witness Space Marines doing battle with Orks.

In my mind Dawn of War was the first great realisation of Games Workshop’s Warhammer 40,000 universe in digital form.

Providing squad based sci-fi war in a form that eschews resource gathering in favour of action, the game spawned a number of expansions that further delved into the rich 20 year old universe of Warhammer 40K.

The latest video showing game-play between the genetically enhanced Space Marines and their long-time foes the Space Orks has been released to an audience craving more info on this upcoming Games for Windows release.

One of the highlights of this game will be the ability to take on and also play with, the truly alien hoards of the Tyranid hive-mind creatures.

But for now, check out the Marines going up against an Ork Warboss.

[UPDATE] What the heck! Added some tyranid vision for flavour.
