In a continuing trend, it looks as if people are purchasing new phones to play games.

We already know that whiling away the minutes to hours playing games on mobile devices is a popular past time.

And increasingly it seems, the mobile devices are smart phones such as the Apple iPhone or Android based T Mobile G1.

According to medialets the top Android based application downloads, with over 250,000 is the classic Namco arcade game remake of Pac-Man. Wucka-Wucka.
