Your IT - Entertainment

LucasArts have revealed details of what undoubtedly will be the first in a series of down loadable content for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.

That did not take long.  LucasArts announce the imminent arrival of DLC for their latest blockbuster Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.

The content will come in two forms, available on the Xbox LIVE and PlayStation Network this [southern] spring (Hang on, that’s now!).

The first piece of downloadable content will be comprised of additional costumes and character models that can be used while playing through the single-player campaign, including Luke Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ki-Adi-Mundi, and Kit Fisto.

The second round of downloadable content, due later this year, will feature an entirely new single-player mission, set in the Jedi Temple on the planet Coruscant.  Darth Vader's Secret Apprentice turns to the Jedi Temple to learn more about his father, and while searching through the rubble of the destroyed building he must confront his inner demons.

On the whole [southern] Spring comment above – Activision have confirmed this means sometime between now and the end of the year.

This content will be welcome to the game, especially the extra playable mission, for a single player game Star Wars: The Force Unleashed did draw a smattering of criticism when it came to the length of game-play on offer.

No price points for the content have been revealed yet.
