PS3 BioShock good to go

Your IT - Entertainment

At last the cycle is complete; Andrew Ryan’s dystopian future/past underwater world gone wrong is ready to be experienced by PS3 owners.  BioShock PS3 has gone gold.

Despite some criticism of the games ending, BioShock remains one of 2007’s seminal moments in gaming history.

Designed by 2K games (out of 2K Australia and 2K Boston) the game sold extremely well on both PC and Xbox 360 platforms, garnering many an award along the way.

It was almost inevitable that 2K games would seek to have as many people enjoy BioShock as possible.  Given the sequel is slated for next year , why not rebuild the hype with some love coming the way of PS3 owners.

BioShock on the PS3 will arrive in retails stores from October 17th (North America seeing the PS3 version on October 21st)

PS3 downloadable content will also arrive “shortly after” these launch dates.  Time to jump in the Bathysphere and again submerge into the murky dangerous world of crazed, splicers and madmen.  Good preparation for the 2010 release of the BioShock movie .

Have fun PS3 owners, despite the long wait, you will not be disappointed .
