Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning takes the tabletop miniatures game online, with retail stores across North America, Europe, and Oceania in preparing for launch on September 19th. WAR set a company record for the most retail pre-orders placed by consumers for a PC title in EA's 26 year history. Overall, the company has sold 1.5 million units of WAR to retailers.
Meanwhile over in Activision Blizzard land, the World of Warcraft juggernaut roles on. A bit of leaked info gives the release date and collector’s edition details for the next expansion; The Wrath of the Lich King.

And if you are the Collectors Edition type, the following details are confirmed (for the US release at least) of the US$70 version of the expansion.

* An exclusive in-game pet: Frosty, the baby frost wyrm.
