Movies on PSP, $69.95, www.gvae.com.au

Official movie titles for the PSP come on mini DVD-style discs known as the UMD, or universal media disc, and currently there are more movies available on UMDs that there are PSP games.

But as the PSP can play movies from Memory Stick, you're probably wondering if some of the videos you already own can be converted to the widescreen PSP format. The answer is yes, and with Memory Stick Duo cards now available in sizes of up to 2Gb, you can convert your exiting collection to memory stick as required and watch it anywhere on the gloriously good screen of the PSP.

While there are free utilities on the Internet to help you do this, they're a bit clunky and require you to know what you're doing. A search on Google will help you find these if you're interested.

The thing is, if you want a simple, easy-to-use solution, as almost always in the world of technology, there is an answer if you're willing to pay for it. That answer is called 'Movies on PSP', and it converts all of the popular file types including DiVX to the PSP's widescreen format.

It can also intelligently convert video to the remaining amount of space on your memory stick, meaning it will make a movie fit into the remaining 450mb of your 512mb memory stick, or you can make it exactly fit the new 1Gb card you just purchased for even better picture quality.

If you don't want to stuff around with free conversion software, Movies on PSP makes it very easy to let your PSP be even more useful.
