Guitar Hero: Metallica - The Sandman enters gaming

Your IT - Entertainment

Following on from the Aerosmith themed Guitar Hero release, comes the Metallica fans chance for Guitar Herodom.

Gamespot Au are reporting that we should now add Metallica to the rumour pile (currently consisting only of Van Halen).

Joining Aerosmith, the Guitar Hero Metallica themed game is possibly heading to retail shelves in the first quarter of 2009

"In fiscal 2009, we plan to publish Guitar Hero: On Tour for the NDS; Guitar Hero: Aerosmith, Guitar Hero: Metallica, and Guitar Hero IV across multiple platforms," the company said in its SEC report filed recently.

With Rock Band out of the picture (at least in Australia) it looks quite possible that Guitar Hero : Metallica might be a Guitar Hero IV based multi instrumental release, giving gamers everywhere the chance to emulate the San Francisco based four piece.
