Moving units in Japan, and with confirmed dates for Europe and Australia, Nintendo have now given the release dates for the Wii Fit balance board in North America

Okay U.S citizens you can stop standing on one leg holding your breath awaiting the details of the Wii Fit in your land.

As of May 19th, and after forking over US$89.99 you can be standing on one leg holding your breath in front of your Nintendo Wii.

1.4 million have already gone home to Japanese house holds since December 1st 2007, and May 8th is the launch date in Australia where the hype is building.

With more than 40 yoga, aerobic, balance and strength exercises as part of the package it will be interesting to see if the success trend continues into the U.S market.

Nintendo are banking on expanding the awareness of video games as more than inanimately sitting in front of a TV screen, stating "every member of the household can step up and stay active, setting individual fitness goals and tracking their progress over time."
