Who would have thought a mentioning of video gaming and physical fitness in the same article? But that is the new world of games consoles. As a prelude to the launch of the Wii Fit in Australia, Nintendo will be making the Balance Board available for use at the upcoming Australian Fitness Expo.
Between 18-20 April 2008 at the Sydney Exhibition and Convention Centre, video game enthusiasts will have a chance to rub shoulders with fitness fanatics as they share the stages of the Australian Fitness Expo with the Nintendo Wii Fit balance board.

Australian stores on May 8th , the Australian Fitness Expo will be one of the first chances for folks to try the new Wii peripheral that has already shipped many a unit in Japan.

Nintendo will utilise the Australian Fitness Expo, to be staged at the Sydney Exhibition and Convention Centre, 18 – 20 April, 2008, as part of their promotional campaign in the lead up to the Australian launch of the new Wii Fit – the personal trainer that fits under your couch!
The Australian Fitness Expo is Australasia’s largest event for everyone interested in wellness and a healthy lifestyle and as such, has been recognised by Nintendo as the perfect place to showcase the Wii Fit to the lifestyle and fitness market.
