Gran Turismo 5 Prologue hits the starting line

The servers are up, the million pre-orders will be rolling onto the starting grid.  The Gran Tursimo franchise has hit the PS3 platform from today.  Start your engines.

Sony are expecting big things now that Gran Turismo 5 Prologue is up and racing.

72 cars including the Ferrari Formula 1 experience, a bunch of high definition tracks and most importantly an new feature laden online experience will be awaiting Gran Turismo fans from today.

In Australia there is the nice price of AU$59.95 for the game (it is after all, the prologue to the full blown release of GT5 in the future) as well as a PS3 40GB bundle pack at AU$699.95
