THQ and Kaos studios will bring all the experience of the team behind the Desert Combat mod for Battlefield 2 to Frontlines: Fuel of War:  The game is set in a desperate, near future setting where controlling the planet’s depleting fossil fuel resources will determine the ultimate fate of civilization. A global war for oil is being waged between two superpowers—the Western Coalition (US/EU) and the Red Star Alliance (Russia/China)—and through intense, non-linear single- or multi-player campaigns, players will be able to use advanced weaponry (from next-generation assault tanks through to experimental RC drones) and more than 60 vehicles to determine how the war is waged—and won—one frontline at a time.
