Patches, fixes, updates and new downloadable content for BioShock is set to arrive tonight, this includes a new 100 point achievement for Xbox 360 owners.
Some small tid-bits of content are arriving along with some fixes and patches for one of 2007’s best games, BioShock.
From 7PM (Australian time) tonight, gamers will be able to
download a new patch for both PC and Xbox 360 versions of the game.
Apart from a list of fixes and updates, this code includes some additional content.
Added to the BioShocker’s repertoire are the following plasmids and gene tonics: Sonic Boom, Sonic Boom 2, Eve Saver, Machine Buster, Machine - Buster 2, Vending Expert, Vending Expert 2.
There has also been an option added to disable the Vita-Chambers, taking away, in
my opinion , the biggest flaw in an otherwise excellent title. With Vita-Chambers turned on, -the only option in the original game – meant that death in the game meant nothing.
Along with these updates, Xbox 360 owners now have a nice juicy achievement to aim for. Here are the details:
100 point achievement for beating game without Vita Chamber called "Brass Balls"
How to do it:
Must beat game on Hard
Must not use a Vita Chamber (you can always roll back to an earlier save)
The Vita Chamber Disabled option can be on or off as long as you don’t resurrect
All up it looks like it is time to venture under water again.
