Australian release date of Unreal Tournament 3 confirmed

Adding to the virtual battle fields this month comes Midway’s Unreal Tournament 3
Distributor Red Ant Enterprises have confirmed the release date for the Midway and Epic Games developed Unreal Tournament 3.

From November 23rd PC gamers will be able to pick up their copy of the game.  AU$99.99 and AU$119.99 for a Limited Collector’s Edition will be the outlay.

UT3 has provided the engine for many hit games of late (Gears of War, BioShock) and it seems that the series has strayed from its original violent gaming show premise to a more story laden battle fest.

The PS3 version has yet to receive a release date, and the OFLC has given UT3 a MA15+ “Strong science fiction violence, blood and gore”.   Sounds perfect.
