Finally a Wii-Remote as a lightsabre, Lucas Arts confirm Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is coming to Wii

Using the Wii-Remote to wield the lightsabre and the Nunchuck to hurl force powers,  Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is shaping up as a must have title for the Wii this coming (southern) Autumn.

Australia’s Krome Studios is developing the Wii version of the game for LucasArts, and will feature a head to head multiplayer mode.  Yep! Re-live all those famous lightsabre duals from the movies

"Wii is a great platform for The Force Unleashed, because the console's motion-oriented controllers really bring the game to life," said Jim Ward, President of LucasArts. "We've worked hard to make the Wii version of the game unique in order to truly let you unleash the Force."

Along with the Wii, versions of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed are in development for PS2, PSP, Nintendo DS, PS3 and Xbox 360.
