Nintendo take Wii and DS on tour

Your IT - Entertainment

Nintendo Australia is not satisfied with becoming a household word – even grabbing a cameo on Kath & Kim recently.  Now the rockstar gaming consoles are going on tour.

In what I predict will be a rash of broken plasma screens in shopping centres around the country, Nintendo are about to hit the streets.

From the press release;
Australia, Melbourne, 5 September 2007,
People of all ages will have a new opportunity to play Wii™ as Nintendo Australia host a nationwide tour highlighting key, new and future releases.

Running in shopping centres across Australia, The tour will allow
fans to compete against family and friends in some of Nintendo’s great new games. Winners from each shopping centre will go into the draw to win their very own Wii and a copy of Big Brain Academy for Wii™.

Kicking off on September 22 and travelling across the country until October 14, the tour will showcase a variety of Nintendo’s great products including Big Brain Academy for Wii™, Super Paper Mario™, Wii™ Sports and Boogie™. In addition, there will be a special ‘Metroid Prime 3 – Corruption’ demonstration and other great surprises!

The Touch Generation range including Brain Training™, More Brain Training™, Big Brain Academy™ and Picross DS™ will also be available for people to sample as well as other brand new games! Nintendo fans will also have the opportunity to play soon to be released ‘The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass.
