Microsoft and BioWare have announced the launch date for the highly anticipated Mass Effect on Xbox 360

November 20 Mass effect will be hitting stores in North America followed by a European launch three days later.

200 years in the future an elite team of galactic protectors must be directed by the player to defeat a mysterious threat to mankind.  A clichéd story indeed, but in the hands of Bioware (Jade Empire, Knights of the Old Republic), should turn into something special.

Microsoft and developer BioWare are planning a trio of Mass Effect games for the Xbox 360 platform. 

Before release Mass Effect has already racked up some accolades from various press shows and Game Developer Conferences’ around the globe.  At E3 last month it garnered ‘best RPG’ praise.
