New Tony Hawk contains Guitar Hero III Demo

Tony Hawk Proving Ground is about to launch for Sony PS3 & PS2 along with Nintendo Wii & DS.  The Xbox 360 version will preview Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock.

Make way for Tony Hawk Proving Grounds, sliding into stores this October.

Continuing the success of the Tony Hawk franchise with enhanced character development, even wider and more open environments, video editing and online play.

Xbox 360 Tony Hawk fans will also be treated with five tracks from the upcoming Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock.

The Demo will feature tracks playable in one venue (Desert Rock Tour venue).

The tracks are; Lay Down by Priestess, Even Flow by Pearl Jam, The Metal by Tenacious D, Hit Me with your Best Shot as performed by Pat Benatar and Rock You like a Hurricane as performed by the Scorpions

"Music is such a huge part of skateboarding culture and pairing the Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock demo with Tony Hawk's Proving Ground makes perfect sense," said Dusty Welch, head of publishing at Activision division RedOctane

Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock is due late October early November.
