Eminence Symphony return from triumphant video game soundscape

Your IT - Entertainment

Australia’s Eminence Symphony Orchestra returns from enthusiastic audiences in the US and ‘sell outs’ in Japan.  The quintet’s Destiny Reunion show featuring music from video games and anime, announces dates in Sydney and Melbourne.

The Australian musicians were treated to numerous standing ovations at the ‘sell out’ Japan concert and again at the performances they delivered in the USA at Otakon – the world’s largest anime convention

Eminence Symphony Orchestra founder, 26 year old Hiroaki Yura (a renowned violin virtuoso and keen gamer) is thrilled to see that his vision of making classical music more appealing to the younger generation is now spreading beyond the local Australian market. By re-orchestrating the music created for video games and anime, the Eminence Symphony Orchestra musicians are creating a new genre of classical music that is appreciated and ‘loved’ by a generation that may otherwise see classical music as staid and unappealing.

The Destiny Reunion quintet – comprising world class Australian musicians from the Eminence Symphony Orchestra – are performing pieces in this concert tour that have been specifically arranged by international composers Hitoshi Sakimoto and Yasunori Mitsuda to suit a quintet and as such, have never before been played in the same manner.
