Australian Xbox 360's mysterious illness

A major gaming retail chain in Australia (Electronics Boutique) has issued a total recall of Premium Xbox 360’s

According to those gamer gurus over at Kotaku, local major gaming retailer Electronic Boutique (EB) has had a fall out with their stock of Premium Xbox 360’s.

The report cites internal sources that indicate two weeks ago head office asked store managers to test every unit in stock, but then ordered a total recall of every Premium Xbox 360 in the stores.

Because only Premium 360’s were targeted it appears this recall is due to a batch of faulty Hard Disk Drives.

This will put a dent in 360 sales until the possible restock this Wednesday.

It also comes on the back of a major Xbox 360 PR crisis when it comes to quality concerns
