Firstly it is destined for an expanded line-up of platforms, now including the PS3 and Wii
Secondly the game will feature boss battles, where players will take on on-screen guitar gods in a musical frenzy sure to cause bleeding fingers all over the world.
The first named “boss” is Slash, the top hat wearing guitarist best known for the glory years of Guns N’ Roses and later moving onto other projects including Slash’s Snakepit and Velvet Revolver.
Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock is due out this southern spring. As well as PS3 and Wii, the game will include versions for PS2 and Xbox 360.
