Early look at Rock Band emerges

Your IT - Entertainment

Harmonix, original developer of Guitar Hero finally release some vision on how their next project Rock Band will look.

Looking awfully similar to Guitar Hero in game-play but including separate parts for Guitars, Drum and vocals (SingStar style) Rock Band is hoping to bring the full band experience into the living room.

Take a look at the released video hosted over at Kotaku ; but click with a ‘grain of salt’ as according to the report, the game on display is far from the finished product.  Even the Guns and Roses track has not been licensed at this point.

The peripherals featured in the video, specifically the drums, though bordering on toyish, seem to be robust enough for what will amount to a crowded area in front of the living rooms TV.

Rock Band is due at the end of the year for PS3 and Xbox 360.
