Bye Bye 20GB PlayStation 3?

Your IT - Entertainment

It looks, as though consumers are favouring the 60GB PS3, in fact the model seems to have dropped from the SonyStyle online store.  No buy, buy so bye, bye 20GB PS3

1UP have noticed that a search for a PS3 on the Sony online store SonyStyle does not give the option of the 20GB WI-FI- less model.

Couple this with the fact that the entire PAL regions of this world were never even given the choice, and that contacting some online retailers returned the response “[we] are not getting any more [shipments]”, it would seem that Sony is indeed dropping the SKU.

So now, unlike the Microsoft approach of a “bit more” choice in getting into Next-generation gaming with the Xbox 360, Sony is offering you either the full blown AU$1000.00 PS3 or a PS2 for your PlayStation gaming experience.
