Users of a free WiFi service to be offered at Flinders Street station from March will be the first in Australia to get weather information via the US's Weather Channel.

The free, advertising funded WiFi service planned for the Melbourne CBD by local ISP, Netbay Internet and GoConnect (ASX: GCN) - which will be responsible for the advertising - has gone live for a three month trial in Flinders Street station.
